About the player
Darrell Tibell made his name at Skövde AIK in 2023 with two goals in the relegation playoff against Falkenberg. Those goals helped the club stay in the Superettan. He was on loan from IFK Norrköping, where he had come through the youth system and scored freely in the Swedish under-20 league.
His first senior season, 2022, was split between two clubs. He made three league appearances for Norrköping and played for IF Sylvia. There he played 15 league games and scored four goals. The Skövde loan followed a year later and gave him a full season in the second tier.
In March 2024 he moved to Sandefjord in the Norwegian Eliteserien, for an undisclosed fee. He played 13 league games that season and scored once. Sandefjord were relegated to the Second Division in 2025, and Tibell stayed with the club in the lower league.
In February 2026 he left Norway. FC Hegelmann announced his signing on 19 February. By September he had made about 20 league appearances for them and scored twice. He has also played in the UEFA Conference League with Hegelmann.
Tibell has no senior league title or cup to his name. His international experience so far comes from Sweden's under-20 side.
