Ali Ülgen

Ali Ülgen won a Süper Lig title before he had played a minute in the competition. He was in the Galatasaray squad that took the championship in 2017–18, but he made no league appearances that season. He had joined the club's academy in 2011 and came up through the U19 and U21 sides. With the U19s he won the PAF Ligi in 2015–16, and he signed his first professional contract in 2017.

In June 2018 he left Galatasaray for Osmanlıspor, which later became Sincan Belediye Ankaraspor. The move was part of an exchange involving Badou N'Diaye, and his teammate Barış Zeren went in the same deal. Ülgen played 45 times for Ankaraspor between 2018 and 2021.

The most settled stretch of his career came at Samsunspor, who signed him on 14 July 2021 for a fee of 2 million Turkish lira. In 2022–23 he was a regular in the side that won the 1. Lig and earned promotion to the Süper Lig.

In July 2025 Ülgen joined Erzurum BB on a two-year contract as a free transfer. He has represented Turkey at youth level from U14 to U19, and won one cap for the U19 team.
