Adam Gaži

Adam Gaži joined FC Zlín in July 2026, his first move outside Slovakia. He arrived on a free transfer after his contract with MFK Skalica expired, and he signed for three years, until 30 June 2029. The club's announcement described him as a player who can work either flank in defence or in midfield. That fits his career: he is listed as a midfielder, but much of his football has been played at left-back or on the wing.

He grew up in Dubnica nad Váhom and started at the local club, Spartak, from 2010 to 2013. He then moved to the AS Trenčín academy, where he stayed until 2020. He made his senior debut for Trenčín in the Slovak top flight in February 2021. A short loan back at Spartak followed, with one appearance.

The 2022–23 season was his first extended run of senior football. On loan at MFK Tatran Liptovský Mikuláš, he made 22 appearances and scored once.

In summer 2023 he went to Skalica, first on loan. He signed a permanent contract in February 2024 and played in the Fortuna Liga, mostly at left-back or on the wing.

Gaži has also played for Slovakia at every youth level from under-17 to under-21. He was part of the Slovak squad at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He has not yet played for the senior national team.

He is right-footed and wears number 11 at Zlín.
