Adam Kadlec

Adam Kadlec came through the youth ranks at Sparta Prague before finishing his development at Bohemians Praha 1905, where he made his Czech First League debut against Slezský FC Opava on 1 May 2021 under manager Luděk Klusáček. Over four and a half seasons with the Prague club he made 83 senior appearances and scored five goals, his first coming in a Czech Cup tie against Sparta Prague in November 2023 and his first league goal in a 3-1 win over Dukla Prague a year later.

Kadlec was part of the Bohemians side that finished fourth in the league to secure the club's first-ever qualification for the UEFA Europa Conference League, and he helped the team reach the semi-finals of the Czech Cup. An unusual episode marked his time there: in a match against Viktoria Plzeň in April 2025, the fourth official mistakenly sent him back onto the pitch before his substitution had been completed. Kadlec went on to set up a goal that was subsequently disallowed and picked up a yellow card, which the disciplinary commission later rescinded. He had also been shown a straight red card against the same opponents, Viktoria Plzeň, in March 2023.

In January 2026 Kadlec moved to Viktoria Plzeň on a free transfer, signing a contract to 2029, in a switch that coincided with Milan Havel's return to Bohemians in the opposite direction.

At international level, the defender has represented the Czech Republic at youth level, earning one cap for the under-21s in a 2023 friendly and six appearances for the under-20 side in the UEFA U20 Elite League across the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons.
