Ondřej Karafiát

Ondřej Karafiát won a global skills competition final at Old Trafford as a child. A product of Bohemians Praha 1905's youth ranks before switching to Sparta Praha's academy, his route into first-team football instead ran through loan spells at Viktoria Žižkov, where he scored on his senior debut in 2014, and Dynamo České Budějovice the following year.

A permanent move to Slovan Liberec in 2016 gave him a settled home for four seasons, and he opened his account in the Czech First League there against Sigma Olomouc in 2017. His transfer to Slavia Praha in 2020 resulted in a Fortuna:Liga title in his first season.

Loaned back to Mladá Boleslav for the 2021–22 season, Karafiát eventually joined Boleslav permanently, making 48 appearances and scoring once in that spell. A free transfer to 1. FC Nürnberg followed in July 2024, where he made 34 league appearances and scored twice before the contract was mutually terminated in January 2026. He returned to Mladá Boleslav as a free agent that same month. At youth level, he represented the Czech Republic at the 2011 Under-17 World Cup and the 2015 European Under-21 Championship.
