Vojtěch Vorel

Vojtěch Vorel came up through Sparta Prague, joining the Prague club's academy in 2003 and signing his first senior contract there in 2014. Rather than fighting for the number one shirt straight away, he spent the bulk of his twenties out on loan, moving through Sellier & Bellot Vlašim, the Slovak side Senica, and Dynamo České Budějovice, where he picked up regular first-team football. His clean-sheet record at Budějovice stood out in particular: in the 2020–21 season he kept a shut-out in 41.7 per cent of his matches, the third-best rate in the league that year.

Back at Sparta, appearances proved harder to come by — he made two first-team outings in the 2023–24 season — but he was on the books for two league titles, in 2022–23 and 2023–24, and a Czech Cup win in the latter campaign. A further loan spell took him to Pardubice in the first half of 2025, and in January 2026 he moved on loan again, this time to Mladá Boleslav until the end of June.

Vorel has represented the Czech Republic at every youth level from under-16 to under-21, collecting caps at each age group, though a senior call-up has yet to follow. His career so far has been defined less by a breakthrough moment than by a steady accumulation of experience away from Sparta, one loan spell at a time.
