About the player
Solomon John came up through the Beyond Limits Football Academy in Nigeria before joining Remo Stars FC, where he made 11 senior appearances in the 2019 NPFL season. That summer he moved to Portugal to sign for C.D. Feirense, though his time there was spent mostly with the under-23 side in the Liga Revelação, with a loan spell at Leça F.C. yielding just a single Liga 3 appearance.
Joining FK Graffin Vlašim as a free agent in January 2022, he became a regular in the Czech second tier, scoring six goals and adding two assists across 40 league appearances. That form earned him a free transfer to FK Mladá Boleslav in August 2023, where he signed a contract running to the summer of 2026.
At Mladá Boleslav, John has established himself in the Chance Liga, passing 70 appearances for the club across all competitions. In the 2025/26 season he has scored five goals in 30 league matches, and in August 2025 he scored the first hat-trick of his career, in a 3–2 win over Hradec Králové.
John has been called up to Nigeria's senior national team, though he is yet to win his first cap.
