About the player
Aleksandr Burnos came to Vitebsk in January 2026 as a free agent, on a contract that runs until 31 December 2026. He arrives after a season in which he finished among the top scorers in the Belarusian First League.
His route there was not a quick one. He came through the youth sports school in his home city of Lida and started out at Dnepr Mogilev's reserve side, playing in the second division and the youth championship. In August 2018 he was loaned to Khimik Svetlogorsk for the rest of the season. A year at Lida followed, then a move to Orsha, where he stayed from April 2020 until January 2022.
The return to Lida on 29 January 2022, again as a free agent, was where his scoring took hold. He scored 15 goals for the club in 2024. In 2025 he went further, sharing second place in the league's scoring list with Pavel Pamphukha. Reported totals for that season run from 20 to 23 goals over roughly 31 to 33 matches.
At 190 centimetres and comfortable with either foot, he gives a side a forward who can finish in more than one way.
