About the player
André Alves has moved through a lot of clubs in a short time. Since turning professional in Portugal with FC Vizela, where he spent a season on loan at AD Cultural e Recreativa do Juventude de Pedras Salgada, he has built a career of one- and two-season spells: Pevidém SC, Rio Maior SC, a return to Pevidém, then SC Beira-Mar on a free transfer. Every one of those moves was completed without a fee changing hands.
In February 2026 he left Portugal for the first time, joining Czech side SK Dynamo České Budějovice, where he made 12 appearances in the Czech National Football League without registering a goal or an assist. That stay lasted only a few months before he signed for Dunav Ruse as a free agent in July 2026, taking his career into Bulgaria's efbet League. He has made eight appearances there so far this season, again without a goal contribution.
Alves has not been capped by Portugal at senior or youth level, and his record to date is built on regular football.
