Stoyan Petrov Predev

Sofia-born Stoyan Predev started out at Slavia Sofia, though his time there brought only a single appearance in the top flight before he moved on in search of regular football. That search took him through Vitosha Bistritsa, Sportist Svoge and Septemvri Sofia, with a loan spell at Pirin Razlog along the way. It was at Septemvri that the right-back began to settle, putting together around 44 league appearances before leaving in 2018.

A brief stint at Lokomotiv Sofia followed, but it was the move to Kariana that summer which gave Predev his longest run in one place up to that point: two seasons and 56 league appearances, with two goals to his name. From there he joined Montana on a free transfer, adding another 30 league outings in the First Professional League.

Predev signed for Dunav Ruse as a free agent in the summer of 2022. He has since passed 120 league appearances in Ruse colours, scoring twice. Every move he has made in his career has come on a free transfer, and his path has run mostly through the Second Professional League and the divisions below it rather than through Bulgaria's top flight. He has not collected any league titles or cup wins along the way.
