About the player
Antoine Kerriou's route to Boulogne ran through three clubs in three seasons before the move finally arrived. He started out in the academy at Stade Brestois 29, where he spent time with the reserve side, Brest B, in the third and second tiers of the amateur pyramid, and where he was picked out as a "Talent" by Foot-National with the club's under-19s in the 2021-2022 season.
He then switched to Saint-Pierre Milizac for the 2023-2024 campaign, a season that reshaped his career: playing in National 3, he was converted from midfield to centre-back, a position switch that stuck. He scored four goals in 25 appearances there.
In June 2024 he joined Vendée Les Herbiers on a free transfer. Over the following season and a half he became a regular fixture, making 50 appearances in National 2 and cup competitions and adding three goals, and he was again recognised as a "Talent" by Foot-National, this time at the higher level. That run of form earned him a professional contract with Boulogne, signed to run through to 2028, though the move came with an immediate loan back to Les Herbiers to see out the rest of the season on the pitch he already knew.
He has not yet featured for a French national youth or senior side.
