Arzhan Malić

Arjan Malić came through the youth system at SV Ried, joining the academy in 2014 before working his way up to SV Ried II in 2023. His senior debut arrived quickly: he made 13 appearances for the reserve side before earning a first-team place in the Austrian 2. Liga in July 2023, where he went on to make 29 appearances and score his first professional goal against Stripfing on 1 March 2024.

That form brought a move to SK Sturm Graz in June 2024, with Krone.at and Laola1.at reporting a fee of around €500,000. The switch has paid off: Malić has made over 31 appearances for the club, scored his first Champions League goal against RB Leipzig in January 2025, and added his first Austrian Bundesliga goal against Austria Wien in December 2025. He was part of the Sturm Graz squad that won the Austrian Bundesliga title in the 2024–25 season.

Malić's rise has extended to the international stage. He made his senior debut for Bosnia and Herzegovina against Romania in March 2025 and had earned nine caps by June 2026. A late call-up to the squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, replacing the injured Nidal Čelik, gave him his first taste of the tournament: he came on as a substitute in the 46th minute against Qatar on 24 June 2026, a match Bosnia and Herzegovina won 3–1 in the group stage.

A right-back by trade, he plays with his right foot and wears the number 23 shirt at Sturm Graz.
