About the player
Aurélien Platret's football education happened almost entirely in the youth ranks of AS Monaco, where he arrived after starting out at US Valbonne Sophia-Antipolis. He rose through the club's age groups — U15, U17, U19 and the Elite Group — and reached two finals along the way: in 2020 he played in the final of the Championnat de France U17, lost to Paris Saint-Germain, and in 2022 he reached the national final of the Coupe Gambardella with Monaco's U19 side.
In June 2023 he signed his first professional contract, running until June 2024, and was included in the first-team group for a Coupe de France last-32 tie against Quevilly-Rouen Métropole, which Monaco won 3-1. A senior competitive debut never followed, and the bulk of his time as a professional was spent with AS Monaco B, playing in National 2 and National 3 between 2021 and 2025.
Platret left Monaco as a free agent in June 2025. He moved directly to US Boulogne, signing on 1 July 2025, without any loan spell along the way. The step up to senior men's football brought him regular game time: across the 2025/2026 season he made 26 appearances in Ligue 2 for his new club.
A right-footed right-back, Platret has not yet been capped at senior international level.
