About the player
Nassiri came through the academy at SC Air Bel in Marseille, where he made his name with the U19 side, finishing among the leading scorers in his group of the Championnat National U19 during the 2023/2024 season. He also spent time with FC Martigues B before Istres picked him up on a free transfer.
The move to Istres proved the making of him. Playing in National 2 through the 2025/2026 season, the left-footed midfielder made 24 league appearances and scored 10 goals, adding an assist and a further goal in the Coupe de France, and it was enough to earn him a free transfer to Boulogne.
At Boulogne he has stepped up to Ligue 2, making five appearances so far without troubling the scoresheet. The step up from National 2 is a significant one, and the goals that flowed so freely at Istres have yet to arrive at this level. He operates primarily through the middle but can also be pushed out to the right flank.
