About the player
Bahmed Deuff arrived at Nantes as an eight-year-old, joining the club's academy in 2014 after starting out at Espérance Saint-Yves. His first senior goal for the club was scored in the Coupe de France against US Concarneau in December 2025.
He reached the final of the 2025 National U19 Championship with the club, losing 1-2 to Paris Saint-Germain. He also featured in the UEFA Youth League under coach Stéphane Moreau.
International recognition followed on 6 June 2026, when Deuff was handed his senior debut for Mauritania, coming on as a substitute in the 76th minute of a 1-1 friendly draw against Angola.
