About the player
Mbeumo made his professional debut for Troyes on 17 February 2018, and by the following season was a regular in Ligue 2, scoring 11–12 goals. He had already announced himself at youth level, netting twice in the 2018 Coupe Gambardella final at the Stade de France as Troyes' under-19 side won the trophy.
He left for Brentford in August 2019 for a fee of around £5.8 million. He was part of the side that beat Swansea City 2–0 in the 2021 Championship play-off final to seal promotion to the Premier League.
He signed a five-year contract and made his debut for United on 17 August 2025 against Arsenal. He was named the Premier League's Player of the Month for October 2025.
He has represented Cameroon at international level, earning 32 caps and scoring seven goals for the national side.
