Bailey Peacock-Farrell

In September 2021, Bailey Peacock-Farrell saved penalties in two consecutive competitive matches for Northern Ireland, first against Lithuania and then against Switzerland.

He was born in Darlington, England, and could have played for England. He declined that interest and chose Northern Ireland, the country of his grandfather. His senior debut came on 30 May 2018 against Panama, two months after his under-21 debut against Iceland. By September 2025 he had 50 caps, which made him only the third goalkeeper in Northern Ireland's history to reach that figure, after Pat Jennings and Maik Taylor.

His club career began at Leeds United, where he joined the academy and made his first-team debut in 2015. A loan at York City followed in 2017, and he was named Leeds United Young Player of the Year for 2017–18. In August 2019 he moved to Burnley for a reported £2.5 million, though some accounts put the fee at £3.5 million.

Burnley did not give him the regular place he had at Leeds, and the 2021–22 season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday changed that. He became first-choice goalkeeper there and won the club's Player of the Month award for August and again for December 2021.

Birmingham City signed him on a free transfer in the summer of 2024. In July 2025 he joined Blackpool on a season-long loan, and the club made the move permanent on 30 January 2026.
