Bruny Nsimba

Bruny Nsimba came through the academy at Royal Antwerp FC, signing his first professional contract there in October 2020 and making his debut in that year's Belgian Cup Final. In January 2023 he moved on a free transfer to S.K. Beveren, where he made 11 appearances.

It was at FCV Dender EH, which he joined on a free transfer in June 2023, that Nsimba established himself. In the 2023–2024 season, playing in the Challenger Pro League, he scored 14 goals in 28 league appearances and finished as the club's top scorer, a return that helped Dender secure promotion to the Jupiler Pro League. He kept up his scoring in the top flight, netting 9 goals in 38 league appearances in 2024–2025 and another 9 in 30 appearances the following season. Across all competitions for Dender, he scored 32 goals in 94 appearances.

That form led Standard Liège to announce his signing in March 2026, with Nsimba joining on a free transfer once his Dender contract expired, on a three-year deal. Reports linked his decision partly to the presence of Vincent Euvrard, his former coach at Dender, and the move came despite interest from Cercle Bruges.

Born in Bukunzao, Angola, Nsimba moved to Belgium with his family at the age of two and holds Belgian citizenship; his father is from the Democratic Republic of Congo and his mother is Angolan. He has not played for Belgium at senior or youth level, and remains eligible to represent either Angola or the DR Congo, with reports suggesting interest from the Congolese federation.
