Tobias Mohr

Tobias Mohr's route to the Bundesliga ran through the lower leagues of German football for the best part of a decade. He came through the Alemannia Aachen academy and made his senior debut with the club in the Regionalliga West, spending four years there before a free move to SpVgg Greuther Fürth in 2018.

The turning point came at 1. FC Heidenheim, where he joined in January 2020 for a reported fee of €1 million. Mohr was instrumental in Heidenheim's push for the Bundesliga in the 2021–22 season, scoring eight goals and adding six assists in the 2. Bundesliga as the club secured promotion. That form earned him a step up to Schalke 04, who signed him for around €1 million in June 2022 on a contract running to 2025.

At Schalke, Mohr played in midfield, though his contract expired without a further move up the divisions. In June 2025, once his Schalke deal ran out, he joined Standard Liège on a free transfer.

Mohr has not been capped by the German national team, and his career to date has been built without major individual honours or trophies — instead marked by steady progression from regional football into the Bundesliga through consistent performances at each stop.
