Ibrahim Karamoko

Ibrahim Karamoko came up through Lille's academy before crossing into Italy, where he signed his first professional contract in March 2019 and made his senior debut the following month. Torino took him on permanently in October 2020, and a loan spell in Belgium with R.E. Virton in the 2021–2022 season became his main route to regular minutes.

The following seasons took him away from the game's bigger stages. He dropped into Guingamp's reserve side for 2022–2023, then signed for FC Versailles 78 as a free agent in August 2023. Standard Liège signed him from Versailles in January 2025 for a fee in the region of €150,000 to €200,000, tying him to a contract through to 2030.

Karamoko plays primarily as a centre-back, capable of also filling in in midfield, and wears the number 20 shirt at Standard Liège. Born in Paris to Ivorian roots, he has not been capped by either France or the Ivory Coast at senior level, though he featured twice for a Mediterranean U21 selection at the 2023 Maurice Revello Tournament without scoring.
