Christopher Robert Mochrie

Chris Mochrie was 16 years and 27 days old when he made his senior debut for Dundee United in May 2019. That made him the youngest player in the club's history to appear in a first-team match, and he broke the record John Souttar had held. He had come through the club's academy after playing for Logie Harp Boys Club.

Regular football came through loans. At Montrose in 2020–21 he played 21 league games and scored once. His second spell, at Dunfermline Athletic in 2022–23, was more productive: 34 league appearances, two goals and a Scottish League One title. Back at Tannadice, he made 38 league appearances for United in total and scored three goals.

United released him in July 2024, and he joined Airdrieonians on a free transfer. Airdrie gave him the longest run of his career. He played 66 league matches for them and scored 11 goals, and he did it as an attacking midfielder.

In July 2026 he moved to St Mirren, again on a free transfer, and signed a two-year contract. He had played four league games for the club by then without scoring.

Mochrie has represented Scotland at under-16, under-17, under-19 and under-21 level. He has not yet won a senior cap.
