About the player
Cadu's career has run almost entirely through Czech football before landing in Hungary. Born in Salvador, he made just one appearance for Fluminense de Feira before leaving Brazil in January 2020 for FK Pardubice, where he won the Czech Cup in the 2021–22 season. That form earned him a move to FC Viktoria Plzeň in July 2022, though he was loaned out to FC Baník Ostrava for the following season.
Back at Plzeň from July 2023, Cadu became part of a squad that lifted the Czech Cup again in 2023–24, beating FC Zlín 4–1 in the final.
In June 2025 he joined Ferencvárosi TC on a free transfer, and the cup habit followed him to Hungary: Ferencváros won the Magyar Kupa in the 2025–26 season, defeating Zalaegerszegi TE 1–0 in the final at the Puskás Aréna, the club's 25th triumph in the competition. Across his career, Cadu has contributed 27 league goals and five in cup competitions, though he has not been capped at any level by Brazil.
