Bamidele Isa Yusuf

Bamidele Yusuf left home in Nigeria at the age of 12 to chase a career in football, starting out at FC Obazz before a move to Europe took him to Spartak Trnava in Slovakia. He spent three seasons there, won the Slovak Cup and was named to the league's U21 Team of the Season, but a subsequent transfer to Estoril in Portugal did not work out: he managed just five league appearances and one goal before the two sides mutually terminated his contract.

The winger rebuilt his career in Serbia. A free transfer to Radnički Niš brought six goals in 16 matches, form that earned him a move to Vojvodina. There he had a breakout campaign, scoring 18 goals in 39 league appearances, including four goals in a single game against Novi Pazar that tied a club away record and brought him the SuperLiga's Player of the Week award.

That form took him to Ferencváros, and he has continued to contribute in Budapest, scoring in the Europa League against both Panathinaikos and Ludogorets and producing a goal and two assists away at Celtic. He was part of the squad that won the Hungarian Cup, though the final itself brought disappointment: Yusuf missed a penalty against Zalaegerszeg.
