About the player
Denis Kahrimanović spent four seasons in the Regionalliga with FC Pinzgau Saalfelden. In 2024/25 he played 26 games in the Regionalliga West for Austria Salzburg, who took the championship and with it promotion to the 2. Liga.
His route there was gradual. He began at SV Ried II, made his debut in the OÖ Liga in March 2018 and played 16 matches before the side went up to the Regionalliga in 2019. In May 2018 he was named in the senior Ried squad for a 2. Liga fixture, though he did not get on the pitch.
In July 2019 he moved to FC Juniors OÖ and was loaned out at once to Saalfelden. The loan became a permanent deal in January 2020. He stayed until 2024 and played 75 league matches in the Regionalliga for the club.
He joined Austria Salzburg in July 2024. The promotion season was followed by his 2. Liga debut in August 2025. He has since made 58 appearances for the club and scored twice, and his contract is reported to run until 30 June 2028.
Kahrimanović holds Bosnian and Austrian citizenship and played for Bosnia and Herzegovina at youth level: six matches for the Under-17s in 2016 and two for the Under-18s in 2018.
