Dante Vanzeir

Dante Vanzeir made his name at Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, where he became joint top scorer of the 2020–21 Belgian First Division B season with 19 goals, a campaign that ended with the club returning to the top flight after 48 years away from it. He was named Belgian Second Division Footballer of the Year for that season and went on to score 43 goals in 79 appearances for the club before moving on.

His path to Union had run through KRC Genk's academy and two loan spells: 15 goals in 37 games for KFCO Beerschot Wilrijk, then three in 18 for KV Mechelen. He also won the Belgian Super Cup with Genk in 2019.

In February 2023, Vanzeir moved to New York Red Bulls for a fee that was a club record at the time. He made 51 appearances and scored six goals there, on 23 March 2024, setting a club record with four assists in a 4–0 win over Inter Miami.

He returned to Belgium in January 2025 with KAA Gent, making 22 appearances and scoring five goals, before joining Cercle Brugge on loan in January 2026 for the rest of that season, an arrangement since extended for the following campaign. He has scored two goals in 17 appearances for Cercle Brugge so far.

At international level, Vanzeir came through Belgium's youth ranks, scoring in the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup third-place playoff against Mexico, and earned his first senior cap on 16 November 2021 as a substitute against Wales.
