About the player
He had already logged six appearances for the reserves in National 3 during the 2021–22 season, adding fifteen more the year after, when the call came for a senior debut in August 2022. Over the following seasons he made 21 league appearances for Le Havre and added three outings in the Coupe de France, scoring once in the cup. He was part of the squad that won the Ligue 2 title in 2022–23.
In January 2025, Cercle Brugge paid a reported €3 million for him and tied him to a contract running to 2028, with an option to extend by a further year.
Ngoura's international story so far belongs to France's youth sides rather than the senior team. He has moved up through the under-17s to the under-21s. He remains eligible to represent Cameroon through family descent, though he has yet to make a senior appearance for any nation.
