Danila Kozlov

Danila Kozlov came through the Zenit academy in Saint Petersburg and made his senior debut for the club in February 2023, though his first-team involvement stayed limited to two league appearances and one Russian Cup match that season. He also spent time with Zenit-2, playing 43 matches in the Second League, and picked up a Russian Premier League winner's medal with Zenit's first team despite his small role.

His move to Baltika Kaliningrad in January 2024 changed things. Given regular football, he became one of the discoveries of the 2023/24 season and was voted the club's best player by supporters in March 2024, a run that included helping Baltika reach the Russian Cup final.

He made 23 league appearances in the 2024/25 season, scoring twice, though his minutes remained modest for a squad that went on to win the RPL title.

In February 2026 Kozlov joined CSKA Moscow, with the fee reported at between one and 1.6 million euros. He made his debut for the club on 1 March 2026 against Akhmat Grozny.

Kozlov has moved through Russia's youth international set-up from under-15 to under-21 level, scoring at several age groups, including a goal against Colombia for the under-21s in March 2025. He was called into a senior national team training camp in August 2024.
