Emiliano García Escudero

Emiliano García was fifteen years and 302 days old when he made his debut for Puebla against Necaxa in November 2019, one of the youngest players ever to appear in Liga MX. That early start had come through the club's youth academy, which he had joined the previous year, and it was followed by four senior appearances for Puebla between 2019 and 2024, without a goal to his name.

A loan to Villarreal's youth side in 2021 gave García his first taste of European competition. In September that year he scored against Atalanta's under-19 side in the UEFA Youth League, the first Puebla academy graduate to find the net in that tournament. He returned to Puebla the following May.

The forward left Puebla for good in late 2024, moving on loan to Atlético San Luis, where he played for the club's under-23 side, scoring four goals in 25 appearances during the Liga MX U21 Clausura. In February 2026, Atlético San Luis sent him out on loan again, this time to Atlético Ottawa for the Canadian Premier League season.

García has settled quickly in Ottawa. By May 2026 he had made 19 appearances and scored six goals, among them a late strike in the club's home opener against Vancouver FC. At youth international level, he took part in training camps and development squads with Mexico's under-16 side, though without official competitive caps to show for it.
