Ellis Carlo Iandolo

Released by Gillingham's youth setup in 2012, he spent time with the Maidstone-based academy side Soccer Elite FA before Maidstone United signed him in July 2014. He made no league appearances during his year there, though he did sit as an unused substitute for an FA Cup tie, and left in the summer of 2015.

A trial at Swindon Town turned into a professional contract that August. Iandolo went on to make 172 appearances for the club, scoring four goals, and was trusted enough to be handed fresh terms three times, in 2016, 2017 and 2019. The high point of his eight years there came in the 2019–20 season, when Swindon won the EFL League Two title.

He left Swindon in July 2023 for Colchester United on an undisclosed fee, initially on a two-year deal that has since been extended to run until 2026. He has passed 90 appearances for the club and added four more goals to his tally.

Iandolo plays as a left-back, and his height has occasionally been a point of confusion: some video game databases list him at 186cm, though official sources put him at 178cm. He has not represented England at any youth or senior international level.
