Evgeni Krasnov

Evgeni Krasnov has a record that belongs to few players in Belarus. On 18 April 2024 he came off the bench for Vitebsk and scored twice. One of those goals was the 100th by a Vitebsk substitute in the Belarusian Premier League.

He came through the youth academy of Dnepr Mogilev and signed his first professional contract there in August 2017. His league debut followed in 2018, and he played eight matches that season. In March 2019 he moved to Isloch Minsk Raion on a free transfer and a three-year contract. He split his time between the first team and the reserves, with six Premier League appearances in 2019 and four in 2020. He left by mutual consent.

On 20 July 2020 he joined Vitebsk, again on a free transfer. He has played more than 140 matches for the club in all competitions and scored about 19 goals. He has kept the number 20 shirt throughout. He can play as an attacking midfielder or further forward.

His best single afternoon came in the 2025 season. In round 16 Vitebsk won 5-1 away to BATE, and Krasnov scored twice and set up another goal. The Belarusian Football Association named him best player of the round. At the end of that season Vitebsk supporters voted him the club's best midfielder, and he took 47% of the vote. He had scored five goals and provided seven assists in 29 appearances.
