About the player
He had come through the Brønshøj and Lyngby academies, and by May of that year was already on the pitch for Turkey, making his senior debut against Montenegro. The following March he scored his first international goal, against Moldova.
His time in Dortmund was brief, and in 2017 he moved to Celta de Vigo for €13 million. Rather than settling in Spain, Mor spent much of the following seasons out on loan: to Galatasaray, to Olympiacos, and later to Fatih Karagümrük. In 2022 that loan spell in Istanbul turned permanent in a different way, as Fenerbahçe signed him from Karagümrük for around €2 million. Two more loans followed, back to Karagümrük and then to Eyüpspor, before his contract with Fenerbahçe expired.
Mor left Turkey as a free agent and signed a two-year contract with NEC Nijmegen after a trial period, joining the Dutch club this July. He remains part of the Turkey squad picture, with 15 caps and a single goal to his name at international level.
