About the player
Fabian Østigard Ness has spent his career moving between leagues.
His football began in the youth sides of Lindeberg, Grei and Strømmen. He joined Grorud IL in 2016 and made his senior debut the following year. He stayed until early 2023.
In 2023 he moved to IK Start, where he played until July 2024 and made roughly 37 to 42 appearances. He then left Norway for B36 Tórshavn and played 13 matches there. In 2025 he joined NSÍ Runavík on a free transfer.
In November 2025 he signed with FF Jaro in the Finnish Veikkausliiga on a contract covering the 2026 and 2027 seasons. That transfer was also free. Jaro announced him as a Norwegian full-back, and he is the club's number 19.
At youth international level he appeared once for Norway at under-19 and once at under-20. He has no senior caps. He has won no major trophies with his clubs, and his market value is estimated at between €130,000 and €150,000.
