About the player
Filip Dmitrović grew up in Austria, coming through the youth ranks at Mariatrost before returning to Serbia to play for Partizan, Borac Čačak and Teleoptik Zemun. He turned professional back in Austria with SK Austria Klagenfurt, where he made 75 appearances and won the Regionalliga Mitte title in 2014/15, a promotion-winning campaign for the club.
A move to LASK in 2016 was followed by a string of loans — to Juniors OÖ, Rheindorf Altach and SKN St. Pölten — as he searched for regular football. In April 2016 he travelled for a trial at Newcastle United after an initial switch to PSV Eindhoven had broken down, though nothing came of either approach. He found more stability at SV Ried, helping the club to the Austrian 2. Liga title in 2019/20.
His career then took him abroad to Greece, with spells at Enosis Aspropyrgos and Anagennisi Karditsa, before he returned once more to Austria, turning out for FavAC and then FC Traiskirchen, where he made 51 appearances over two seasons. A move to ASKÖ Oedt followed in July 2024, and he made 27 league appearances there across two campaigns before the club's withdrawal from the Regionalliga prompted his switch to ASK Voitsberg in July 2026.
Dmitrović is the son of former Serbia international Boban Dmitrović, and he himself represented Serbia at Under-20 level, earning three caps in 2015. Ambidextrous by trade, he goes into his time at Voitsberg.
