About the player
Paolo Jager came through Austrian academy football with a well-travelled youth record, moving from Mattersburg to Admira Wacker Mödling and then Wiener Neustadt before settling at Wolfsberger AC in 2017. He stayed there five years, working through the club's system and making 39 appearances for the reserve side between 2020 and 2022, before leaving on a free transfer to Grazer AK in May 2022.
At Grazer AK, Jager featured for both the first team and the reserve side, and was part of the squad that won the Austrian Second League title in 2024. He left at the end of his contract and spent the following season at Kremser SC.
In June 2025, he signed for ASK Voitsberg as a free agent, taking the number 7 shirt in the Regionalliga Mitte. He plays as an attacking midfielder or striker.
