About the player
Filip Luberecki has gone up a division with Motor Lublin in each of three successive seasons: from the III Liga to the II Liga, then to the I Liga, and finally to the Ekstraklasa.
He came through youth football at Rona 03 Ełk and then Escola Varsovia, where he stayed until 2022. Motor Lublin gave him his first professional contract in January 2023, and he made his senior debut a little over a month later, on 23 February. He played 16 league games in the II Liga that season, 27 in the I Liga the next, and 28 in the Ekstraklasa in 2024–25. Motor finished seventh in that first top-flight season.
The club showed its confidence in him in April 2025, when it extended his contract to the end of 2027.
His international career has followed his club career upwards. He has represented Poland at U14, U18, U19, U20 and U21 levels. His debut for the U21s came in May 2025, in a 3–3 draw with Denmark. He was one of the 23 players named for the European Under-21 Championship in Slovakia that summer, and by mid-2025 he had won six caps at that level.
