About the player
Mbaye Ndiaye announced himself to Motor Lublin with a long-range equaliser against Znicz Pruszków on 10 May 2024, a spectacular strike in a 3-3 draw. It was his first goal for the club.
He arrived from Teungueth FC, the club where he had come through the youth academy from 2017. Between November 2020 and June 2022 he was loaned to Keur Madior FC for senior football. He then returned to Teungueth's first team and finishing as the league's top scorer. Teungueth won the Senegalese League Cup in 2023 and the Senegalese Championship in 2024. The move to Poland came with a reported fee of €150,000 to €200,000, and Teungueth kept a clause giving them 20% of any future sale.
He plays as a left-footed midfielder who can also operate on the wing. He scored eight goals and provided two assists in the 2025/26 Ekstraklasa season. By early 2026 he had reached 66 appearances for Motor, with 14 goals and three assists.
In March 2026 the club exercised an option to extend his contract until 30 June 2028. He has also won one senior cap for Senegal.
