Fraser Taylor

Fraser Taylor’s progression through the Scottish game has been shaped by a series of moves designed to build experience. A product of the St Mirren academy, he joined the club as a youth player in 2021. Rather than breaking into the first team immediately, he spent time on loan to develop his game at various levels.

His path took him to Northern Ireland when he signed for Ballymena United in August 2023. The spell proved vital for his development. He made 41 appearances and scored four goals, providing a platform for his next step. He returned to Scotland in September 2024 to join Arbroath. This period marked the peak of his early career. He won the PFA Scotland League One Player of the Year award for the 2024/25 season. His performances helped Arbroath secure the Scottish League One title and promotion to the Championship.

Taylor was instrumental during his time with Arbroath. He recorded seven goals and 14 assists in 28 matches. The form he showed there earned him a further loan move. In January 2026, he transferred to Partick Thistle. He has also featured for his parent club in the Scottish Premiership and the UEFA Conference League. His contributions at the highest level were recognised in December 2025 when he was part of the St Mirren squad that defeated Celtic 3-1 in the final of the Scottish League Cup.
