Gatlin O'Donkor

Gatlin O'Donkor made his first-team debut for Oxford United at 16 years and 55 days old, which made him the club's youngest player at that time. The appearance came on 8 December 2020, while he was still an academy player. He signed his first professional contract in August 2022.

The academy was the only route he took to the senior side. He was part of the Oxford squad that won the Under-18 FA Youth Cup in 2022–23, and in September 2023 he received a call-up to the England Under-20 team. He has also attended an England Under-19 training camp. He holds English and Ghanaian nationality and has no senior caps for either country.

Regular senior football has come through loans. In March 2022 he spent a month at Oxford City in the National League South, scoring once in four games. His most productive spell came at Barnet from February 2024, when he joined until the end of the 2023–24 season. He scored five goals in 13 National League appearances and added another in the FA Trophy, which ended a barren spell in front of goal for a forward who had yet to score regularly at senior level.

In August 2024 he went to Bristol Rovers for the whole of the 2024–25 season. In League One he made 28 appearances and scored four goals, and he also played twice in the FA Cup and once in the EFL Trophy.

For Oxford United he has made 57 league appearances and scored five goals. A left-footed forward, he has yet to win a senior trophy or an individual award.
