About the player
Grenik Petrosyan came through the Pyunik academy and made his senior debut for the club, though first-team opportunities there were limited. Loan spells at BKMA turned out to be the making of him: across two separate stints in the armed forces club's colours he scored a dozen goals in 46 matches during the second of those loans.
His move to FC Noah in the summer of 2024 brought the biggest success of his career to date. Petrosyan was part of the Noah squad that won both the Armenian Premier League and the Armenian Cup in the 2024–2025 season, a double that stands as the high point of his career so far, even if his own scoring contribution that year was modest.
He returned to BKMA on a free transfer in July 2025 and scored five goals in 25 matches during the 2025–2026 season, form that preceded his move abroad to Belarusian side Torpedo-BelAZ Zhodino.
At international level, Petrosyan has represented Armenia at youth level, including seven caps for the under-21 side, as well as appearances for the under-19 and under-17 teams.
