Igor de Carvalho Julião

Igor Julião came through Fluminense's academy and made his professional debut against Vasco da Gama in December 2012, though his own involvement in that title-winning season was limited to a single league appearance. He spent the following years being farmed out on loan, spells that took him to Sporting Kansas City on two occasions, as well as to ABC, Macaé, Ferroviária and ŠTK Šamorín, before returning each time to Fluminense. One of those loans brought him team success without minutes on the pitch: he was part of the Sporting Kansas City squad that lifted the 2017 U.S. Open Cup without featuring in the competition itself.

Back in Rio de Janeiro, the right-back settled into Fluminense's squad for a decade, adding two further trophies, the Taça Rio in 2018 and 2020. Among his contributions in that period was a long-range strike against Flamengo that settled a 1–0 win. He also received international recognition at youth level, called up to Brazil's under-20 squad in December 2012 for the South American Championship, though a senior cap never followed.

His contract at Fluminense was terminated by mutual agreement in 2021, and he moved on a free transfer to Vizela in Portugal. He then switched to Marítimo, where he has remained since 2023 and signed an extension keeping him at the club until 2027. The club has returned to the top flight, sealed by the Liga Portugal 2 title.
