About the player
Ilija Kostić joined FK Zemun as a free agent in July 2025, arriving at the SuperLiga club after a spell without a team. He had left FK Grafičar Beograd, where he began his senior career after being promoted from the club's under-19 side. Grafičar is a club tied to the Red Star Belgrade youth system, and Kostić made one senior appearance there in the 2024/2025 Prva Liga season, playing 44 minutes.
Since signing for Zemun, Kostić has been named in matchday squads for SuperLiga fixtures against Vojvodina, Mladost Lučani, Radnički 1923, Radnički Niš, IMT and Partizan, though he is yet to make his senior league debut for the club.
Born in Smederevo, Kostić came through Serbia's youth international set-up, representing the under-17 side in UEFA European Championship qualifiers between March and May 2023 before earning a cap for the under-18 team.
