Jordan Brian Brown

Jordan Brown's first goal for Blackpool came late. On 20 September 2025 he scored in the 98th minute to beat Barnsley, ending a four-game winless run for the club. It arrived seven weeks after his debut on 2 August and a little over two months after he signed a four-year contract. He also scored a deflected opener in a 4-2 defeat by Plymouth Argyle.

Brown, a defensive midfielder from Stoke-on-Trent, came through the academy at Derby County. He won the Under-18 Premier League with them in 2018–19 and signed his first professional contract on 3 July 2019. His senior debut followed on 8 July 2020. He made four first-team appearances before leaving on a free transfer in January 2022.

Leyton Orient signed him on an 18-month contract on 24 January 2022, and he made his debut the next day. He helped Orient win the EFL League Two title in 2022–23 and go up to League One. He signed contract extensions in May 2023 and August 2024.

The 2023–24 season ended in disappointment. In May 2024 he was in the Orient squad that reached the League One play-off final at Wembley, but he did not play in the 1-0 defeat to Charlton Athletic. Two months later he scored the opening goal in a 2-1 pre-season friendly win over Heart of Midlothian.
