About the player
Pardington's first senior appearance for Lincoln City came in the EFL Trophy on 13 November 2024, a 5–0 win over Manchester City's under-21 side. He played again in the same competition against Morecambe. The goalkeeper had joined Lincoln on a free transfer earlier that year, after a career spent mostly away from league football.
He came through the youth ranks at Rushall Olympic and then Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he joined the senior setup in 2019. Wolves sent him out on loan to non-league clubs, among them Bath City, Stratford Town and Dulwich Hamlet, and to Mansfield Town in 2021. Wolves released him in 2022. He signed for Grimsby Town as a free agent but did not play a first-team game there.
Larne came next, in 2023. He made one appearance in the NIFL Premiership, which the club won in 2022–23. A move to Cheltenham Town followed the same year and brought one first-team appearance.
Loan spells since arriving at Lincoln have given him steadier work. At Truro City, two clean sheets helped the side to a five-game unbeaten run. For Oxford City he kept a clean sheet against Marine in the National League North and was named man of the match. He also spent time at Peterborough Sports and AFC Telford United.
In October 2025 Lincoln recalled him from Telford after an injury to first-choice goalkeeper Zach Jeacock.
