Jordan Marié

Jordan Marié has never played for another senior club. A product of the Dijon FCO academy, which he joined at the age of ten, he worked his way up through the youth ranks and spent six seasons with the reserve side, Dijon B, before signing his first professional contract in February 2013 and stepping up to the first team as a free transfer.

Since then he has become the club's defining figure of longevity. He passed 300 appearances for Dijon in September 2021, and by March 2025 he had gone past Baptiste Reynet to become the club's all-time leader in appearances across Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and National, with more than 310 matches to his name. He is now described at the club as an emblematic captain.

His attachment to Dijon was tested in the summer of 2023, when his contract ran out just as the club, hit by administrative difficulties, was relegated to National. Marié left as a free agent and opened talks with other French clubs, ready to move on from the side he had supported since childhood. Once the situation at Dijon settled, however, he chose to stay, signing a new deal before the season resumed. His contract now runs to the end of June 2027.

Marié has picked up no individual honours and has never been called up by France at any level, senior or youth. His record instead is one of persistence: a boyhood supporter who never left, a long-serving presence in Dijon's midfield through the club's shifts between divisions.
