About the player
Josef Kolářík came up through Slavia Prague's academy, joining in 2020 and spending five years in the club's youth system. Slavia sent him out on loan to FC Vlašim for the 2024/25 season, where he made 13 appearances and scored four goals.
The move was completed in the summer of 2025, with Slavia retaining a buy-back option on the midfielder. Since arriving at Mladá Boleslav, Kolářík has become a regular fixture in the side, racking up around 34 appearances and six goals in his time there so far.
He has also built a consistent presence in the Czech Republic's youth national teams. Kolářík progressed through the U16, U17, U18 and U19 age groups, scoring six goals in 17 caps at U17 level and featuring at the UEFA European U17 Championship in 2024. He added three goals in ten U19 appearances.
