About the player
Kellan Gordon had his first extended run of senior football at Swindon Town, where he spent the 2017–18 season on loan from Derby County. He played 26 league games and scored three goals. A dislocated shoulder in April 2018 ended that spell.
He came to Derby through the Stoke City academy, signed his first professional contract in 2015 and made his senior debut for the club in August 2017. He never played a league match for the Derby first team. His progress came through loans instead. In August 2018 he went to Lincoln City and made six appearances.
He left Derby for Mansfield Town in July 2019 on a two-year deal. Mansfield extended his contract in February 2021. A knee injury kept him out for a period in October 2021. He is mainly a right-back and can also play on the right of midfield. He is right-footed.
In January 2023 Gordon moved to Crawley Town on an 18-month contract. When it expired in July 2024 he signed for Notts County on a free transfer.
