About the player
Kamil Fidan scored the opening goal against Antalyaspor in the 20th minute of a Trendyol 1. Lig match in September 2026. Seventeen minutes later he suffered a fractured rib.
The midfielder, born in Istanbul, came into senior football in January 2023 at Hendekspor. He made eight appearances in the Professional Development League and left in August of that year. He then joined Soma Spor on a free transfer and spent two seasons in the TFF 2. Lig Red Group. He played 63 matches there and scored once. Soma Spor finished 13th in 2024/25, his second season with the club.
Sivasspor signed him on 18 July 2025 on a contract running until 30 June 2029. The fee was not disclosed. In the Trendyol 1. Lig he has made 43 appearances and scored twice, and the goal against Antalyaspor is one of them.
Fidan has yet to play for the Turkish national team in an official match. Representing Turkey is an ambition he has spoken of. He has collected yellow cards along the way but has not been sent off.
