Kyle Walker-Peters

Kyle Walker-Peters was part of the England Under-20 squad that won the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, a result that came in the same year he made his senior debut for Tottenham Hotspur, the club whose academy he had come through.

Regular first-team football did not follow at once. He was loaned to Portsmouth for the 2016–17 season and to Bournemouth for 2017–18, and in January 2020 he moved to Southampton on loan for the rest of that campaign. He made 10 Premier League appearances in that spell. In August 2020 Southampton made the move permanent, paying a fee of around £12 million. That deal was separate from Tottenham's signing of Pierre-Emile Højbjerg from Southampton, which cost around £15 million, though the net outlay for Tottenham was lower.

Southampton is where his career settled. He spent five seasons there and made more than 200 appearances. The 2023–24 season was the high point: Southampton won the EFL Championship play-offs to return to the Premier League, and Walker-Peters was named in both the PFA Team of the Year and the EFL Championship Team of the Season.

His contract expired in the summer of 2025, and in July he joined West Ham United on a free transfer, signing a three-year deal.

He has also played for England at senior level. His debut came on 26 March 2022 in a friendly against Switzerland, and he has won two caps without scoring. Before that he had played for England at Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 levels.
