About the player
Luka Mikulić grew up in Split but built his career on the Bosnian side of the border, coming through the youth system at HŠK Posušje even as he still calls NK Široki Brijeg his home club. He made his senior debut for Posušje on 26 July 2025, against Široki Brijeg, after a season-long loan spell at HNK Grude that took up most of the previous campaign.
The move that changed things came on 15 January 2026, when Grasshopper Club Zurich signed the centre-back for a reported €240,000 and tied him to a contract running until June 2030. Both clubs kept the exact terms of the deal confidential.
At international level, Mikulić has committed to Bosnia and Herzegovina rather than his native Croatia. He earned his first cap for the Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 side, featuring in the qualification rounds for the 2027 European Under-21 Championship. A senior call-up has not yet followed.
Standing at 192cm, Mikulić fits the profile of a modern central defender built for aerial duels.
