Leo Snowden

Leo Snowden is the youngest player ever to appear for Oxford United's first team. He made his senior debut in November 2023, aged 15, and no debutant at the club has been younger.

He arrived in the first team as an academy graduate, and the goals he scored at youth level had made him hard to overlook. For the Oxford United U18 side he scored 35 times, a return that kept him knocking on the door of the senior squad before the call came.

His first season with the seniors was a short one: four appearances in 2023/24. It was also an eventful year for the club. Oxford finished 16th in EFL League One and reached the EFL Trophy final, where they lost to Bolton Wanderers.

The next step came in June 2025, when Snowden signed his first professional contract. That season Oxford played in the EFL Championship but were relegated, and the club began 2026/27 back in League One.

This season he has played three times, starting twice and coming on once as a substitute, for 31 minutes in total. He has not scored, but he has set up a goal, the assist coming against Huddersfield Town. He is still at the start of his senior career.
